"Stimming: Movement, Meaning & Making" 100 page full color art book

In January of 2025, I installed my first solo show. The process of preparing for this show turned out to be more interesting and impactful to my understanding of myself than I'd realized it would be. My goal, once the show came down, was to document the process and write about my connection to each and every piece in the show. I wanted to create a catalog that could be enjoyed by all the people who'd come out to see the show, but would also bring the show to YOU if you hadn't been able to.

I spent the rest of the year working on this book-- a true labor of love. I wrote essays, answered questions submitted via instagram, the guest book and my substack, and took on some deep dives on the pieces I shared.

The end result is a professionally printed, 100 page, softcover book, printed on the nicest paper, in bright technicolor. Each piece of art gets its own blurb delving into the story behind it or how it connects to my neurodivergent art practice. Through essays, I explore the way my brain works and how it affects my making. I answer questions about my process and share sketches and behind the scenes looks at works in progress. You'll see photos of the show as it looked installed, and each individual piece in its own glory.
