SALE: Never too Late: Overlooked Series/ imperfect 8.5x11 prints

These prints come from a series of "Overlooked Brilliance" pieces I did years ago. The original paintings were done in watercolor and featured a "famous" quote, purposely not attributed in the painting, paired with a pigeon, an oft overlooked or unfairly maligned animal. The series was meant to highlight the way we tend to appropriate other people's experiences, truths, contributions, intelligence, & value, without actually seeing the person for their humanity or extending decency towards those we think we already know everything about based on their appearance, race, age, gender identity, socio economic position, body type etc. We (collectively) do the same with pigeons-- seeing them as a group of identical nuisances rather than a community of individual animals with their own minds, talents, families and brilliance.

All of the prints are imperfect in some way, including any combination of the following:

⭐️ lightly bent corners/curled edges
⭐️ imperfect/uneven borders
⭐️ minor color errors &/or un-calibrated color over/under saturation
⭐️ ink skips/ minor surface scratches
